India Pale Ale

Brewers in the 1760’s were advised to add extra hops to their beer when sending to a warm climate. Bound for East India, a pale beer of around 6.5% alcohol and loaded with hops became the favoured choice of middle and upper class Europeans based in India. Since then, the style has taken on many incarnations and is the most widely consumed craft beer style today.

We pay tribute to the US West coast IPA, in our own way by loading it with NZ ingredients. Citrus, pine and tropical fruit flavours attack your palate, complimented by a refreshing bitterness and dry finish.
